Fine Art Instruction in my Studio
I teach weekly classes and longer intensives in my studio on evenings and Saturday throughout the year. We cover drawing, painting both still-life and landscape (plein-air) as well as materials and techniques of direct and indirect painting. For week long personal instruction in my studio, please inquire. We can suggest local lodging in the Asheville area.
For more visit: Kah Art Studio, our website for students. You will find detailed seasonal class schedules, technical and materials resources and more.

Penland School of Crafts only recently began to offer painting and easel art. This is a rare opportunity to paint in one of the most beautiful locations in Western North Carolina. Penland is located between Burnsville and Spruce Pine, with
a rich tradition of craftsmanship and professional training. This two

applications that allow for rich expressive use of oils to produce
