Studio Location
The River Arts District
Cotton Mill Building    122 Riverside Drive    Asheville, NC          828-225-5000
The  building is one of many converted to artists' studios in the River Arts District just outside the city.  Make time to visit us if you are in the area is during the River Arts District Artists Studio Strolls on the second weekend of June and November.  We have regular scheduled classes in the studio and work on location in the field, so please check with us if you would like to visit.

Most of my paintings are begun on site and after several visits, finished in my studio. Larger works are developed from smaller studies.

Mill Gallery at 122 Riverside

We have a small selection of work in progress, paintings and prints on display in the studio, which is my primary work site when not painting on location.

The Mill Gallery is shared space along with other artists who work in the building. This is informal display and changes frequently.  We also host student and guest exhibits. The building is open (even if we are away painting) upstairs from 10am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday. We may be teaching or working, but you are welcome to visit.

To see current work, please visit the gallery via links on the sidebar left. Portfolios here include current work, limited editions and an archive portfolio of works in private collections. The historic Cotton Mill has a fascinating history. Formerly a textile mill complex owned by Moses Cone, whose sisters were collectors of French Post Impressionist artists, now in the Baltimore Museum of Art.
